These digital photographic illustrations were created by Syd White using a variety of original images from the Brandywine Valley. The imagery in this series represents scenes that range from the old gunpowder mills near Centerville, Delaware in the southern end of the valley, to the Brandywine Battlefield in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania at the northern end. White uses Adobe Photoshop computer software to manipulate his original photographic images in order to add dynamic lines, textures, color and lighting to his original work.
